As a recent college graduate, I have had the opportunity to tutor different ages from elementary students to my peers in college. My tutoring strategy is based in the idea that everyone learns differently and that by paying attention to a student's learning style I am able to come up with an individualized lesson plan to help my students achieve academic success. I am able to work with a broad variety of learners from the more visual-based learning styles to those that prefer theory and the abstract.
