Some of the hard working students from Florida State College at Jacksonville are going to be graduating at the end of this semester. The graduation commencement and ceremony will be held at 300 A Philip Randolph Boulevard Jacksonville, FL 32202, which is the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena on May 8 in the downtown area.
The Campus Voice recently stumbled across a new up and coming band, Crystal Aer. Although they have yet to perform at any local hot spots they do show promise of a bright future with many hits to come. The band consists of only two performers, FSCJ's student Chris Caddell (vocals and pianist) and Dylan Bailey (guitar).
Many students dread taking online courses solely because of the lack of face-to-face contact with teachers. FSCJ's new and upcoming professor Chris Markl is sponsoring a 1,800 mile bike ride for Kenya. "My main purpose for the ride is to raise money to improve poverty in Kenya," said Chris.
