James Williams defied the odds, graduating from Terry Parker with a college scholarship

Now, he is a student at FSCJ, working towards a degree in criminal justice. He must maintain a "B" average to keep his scholarship.

James shares his story as part of the One by One Campaign because he wants people to know that there are solutions, and the ability to improve schools and better the quality of education is within our grasp. "Everybody has different circumstances that affect them," James said. "Something that helped me was getting to hear inspirational speakers and how they overcame their problems."
