Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assisting/performing Preventative Maintenance duties and trouble shooting and repairs of minor breakdowns as needed.
Performs all required Process Control adjustments and maintain all associated documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Lead/ coach/train all line team members
Perform all duties associated with advanced quality surveillance, safety adherence, and operation of the line.
Coordination / liaisons between Filling & Assembly and Bulk Manufacturing
Other duties and tasks as required and directed by the supervisor.
Competencies:
Operate and perform limited maintenance on a variety of machines and equipment.
Responsible for operating the equipment and assembly line safely.
Capable of training and coaching junior operators on a variety of machines and
equipment.
Able to communicate effectively with co workers.
Maintain and update all applicable records.
Insure that the line and work stations are clean and free of debris.
Keeps machines and equipment clean and in excellent operating condition as required by
the specifications of each piece of equipment and machinery.
Responsible for performing quality assurance procedure to insure that the products are in
accordance with the specifications of each product.
Perform related duties as required and directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Meet company attendance requirement for any pertinent training classes or on the job
training.
Meet or exceed physical demand and requirements for the position.
Physical Demand and Requirements
General, must be able to understand and perform quickly any instruction given by the
supervisor related to the jobs performance. Must be able to give instructions clearly and
effectively.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs. continuously and 50 lbs. intermittently.
Must be able to stand, sit, and walk continuously for 8 hours.
Must have no medical impediment to perform moderate to heavy duty work.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds repeatedly without restrictions
Ability for work well in a team environment
Ability to work / stand continually for 4 to 8 hours
All other qualifications of lower level Packaging Technician positions
Meet company standards and testing for this position.
