We are seeking enthusiastic instructors who specialize in tutoring language arts to all students. The ability to tutor SAT/ACT is a bonus, but not a requirement. We would like to hire someone who is qualified and aspires to teach Elementary, Middle and High School students preparing for college admittanceDuties & Responsibilities:-Coaching and guiding students to meet their academic goals-Tutoring multiple subjects effectively-Strengthening students' study habits and identifying how each student learns best-Motivating students who need that extra oomph-Working with up to three students at a time-Being engaging, nimble, and professional-Keeping detailed records of tutoring sessions-Attending team meetings and other Tutoring Club eventsMinimum Qualifications:-Associate's degree from an accredited college/university is a must.-1+ years of previous tutoring experience (not required, but is a plus)-Reliable transportation (this is not an online position)-Ability to work SOME of the following: Monday through Thursday from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm-Ability to commit to one year with Tutoring Club
