Description

Requires a passion for the field of mental health. Assists the CAO identify, conceptualize, design and execute campaigns to boost engagement, educate and inform the CGC audience about services and agency programs and events. Create content calendars, develop and distribute text and video-based content, monitor social media channels and support promotional and marketing efforts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns.
  • Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote CGC on various social media websites.
  • Create and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, videos and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets.
  • Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability.
  • Support administrative team at live and online events.
  • Monitor social media communities to identify community management opportunities.
  • Monitor all social media accounts to engage and assist with user inquiries.
  • Analyzes analytics to gauge the success of campaigns.
  • Participates pro-actively in individual administrative supervision on a weekly basis. Is open to and accepting of supervision and professional critique.
  • Maintains personal workspace and/or office in a clean, well-organized and safe manner.
  • Completes other tasks as assigned by CAO.
  • Participates in staff training and other agency-related activities as requested.

Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • The student is enrolled in an appropriate field through an accredited university or college program that has a signed agreement between the school and Child Guidance Center on record.
  • Moderate computer skills are also required, such as inputting at least 35 wpm, and using an
  • Microsoft 365.
  • FL driver's license and good driving record are required, in addition to appropriate automobile insurance.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to understand and passion to promote the field of mental health and its importance to the Jacksonville community.
  • Experience with major social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Snap etc.
  • Technology savvy with experience with Hootsuite, Photoshop, etc.
  • Creativity.
  • Building constructive working relationships with clients, co-workers, other agency staff and community partners.
  • Demonstrating excellent written, oral and listen skills.
  • Organizing work, setting priorities and sequencing activities to meet team standards and goals.
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
  • Adapting to changes in assignments, priorities and new job information.
  • Demonstrating cultural sensitivity and understanding.
  • Demonstrating flexibility, adaptability and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management.
  • Using the internet to research data and obtain information.
