Responsible for the full life-cycle of recruiting: recruiting, screening, and recommending placement of in-house employees and/or independent contractors by using creative sourcing
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS |
Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to: Partners with hiring manager to determine in-house staffing and independent contractor (IC) needs Understands job specifications, competencies, and skills required Utilizes various recruiting methods, both traditional and nontraditional, to attract quality in-house candidates and ICs Screens applications and qualifications to determine suitability of in-house candidates and ICs Interviews candidates and ICs (by phone or in person) and administers appropriate pre-employment assessments for in-house candidates as needed Schedules/recruits for monthly IC Open Houses Schedules and coordinates interviews cooperatively with hiring manager Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (i.e. benefits, compensation, non-compete agreements, job description, etc.) for in-house candidates Coordinates onboarding class with HR Manager for in-house, as needed; Assists candidates with electronic onoboarding Drafts rejection letters and manages process for disqualified in-house candidates Submits employee referral bonus to payroll for in-house candidates Manages current in-house candidate activity in applicant tracking system (ATS) and updates IC bench Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy Ensures regulatory aspects of the full cycle of recruitment process are compliant with federal and state regulations (i.e. I9, EEO, etc.) Maintains recruitment metrics Facilitates requests for internal transfers in the same manner as external hires |

Education
Associate of Arts degree, preferably with Human Resources focus/track

Qualifications
One or more years of Human Resources/Recruiting experience
Preferred computer proficiencies: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Email and Internet
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Knowledge, skills, and abilities
Knowledgeable and professional behavior with current employees, applicants, and contractors
Having a sense of urgency
Task completion on assigned projects or job functions
Attention to detail and accuracy of administrative work
