A social media company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Augmented Reality Waveguide Design Research Intern.

Develop next generation AR/VR display prototypes Work on one of the following - polarization concepts, nano or micro optics, diffractive optics, or geometric optics design Collaborate with the larger Reality Labs team Qualifications for this position include: Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a PhD degree PhD must be in in the field of Optical Science or Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field 1+ years experience with geometric, physical optics, diffractive or micro-optics 2+ years experience with scientific programming languages such as Matlab, Python, Mathematica, or similar Demonstrated ability in optical design software (e.g., proficiency with Zemax, CODE V, or similar)
