Whether you will spend your day in an office cubicle, operating a crane or running the melt shop at one of our mills, at CMC, you'll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll Do Assist with Talent Acquisition process for hourly employees Assist with general administrative tasks Attend business unit and corporate HR team meetings to gain exposure to the broader field of Human Resources Co-facilitate new hire orientation Create reports and weekly metrics dashboard Gain exposure to major HR processes and overall HR strategy Performs other job duties as assigned Support the business strategy through managing and updating HR data, as well as project management workYour Education High School Diploma or GED required Currently pursuing a degree in a related field at an accredited universityWhat You'll Need Ability to learn quickly and multitask required Ability to pay close attention to detail required Strong quality and results orientation with a proactive approach Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures Ability to work independently with moderate level of direction Critical thinking, strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail High sense of confidentiality Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cross-functional team and work effectively among a diverse group of people Strong written and verbal communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to present to senior leaders Passion for innovation and a leader for change Must meet CMC attendance standards Ability to interact with coworkers and customers in a positive manner, follow directions and work rules and accept constructive feedback required Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPointWe are Commercial Metals Company, a Fortune 500 company with a family feel that's already part of your life.
