Description: Aeortek is looking to hire entry level survey rodman to join an awesome team in Jacksonville, Florida No experiene required. Pay starts at $15/hr PLUS over time Job Duties: Heavy labor including using jack hammer, digging, setting up site, operating vacuum truck, and site clean-up. Performs minor maintenance and troubleshooting operating problems on vacuum systems and vehicles Cleans and Maintains vehicles, work sites and equipment Selects and applies appropriate geophysical prospecting equipment to accurately designate non-complex underground utility layouts. Basic comprehension and interpretation of utility and highway design plans, atlases and record drawings Completes paperwork including record keeping and simple mathematics legibly and accurately Performs related duties such as setting up maintenance of traffic as directed, making basic field measurements and performing geophysical prospecting as instructed Skills: landscaping, Survey, Construction, Surveying, Land survey, painting, general labor Top Skills Details: Labor, Construction, Outdoor Additional Skills & Qualifications: Qualifications: Highschool education or GED Must be able and willing to perform heavy labor. Ability to work outside in extreme heat and weather. Valid drivers license and ability to pass an MVR check. Travel required, possibly extensive travel up to 5 days during the week. Overtime required, as needed. Ability to lift 50 lbs or more. Previous Utility locating or survey experience is a plus.
