The OpportunityRS&H is currently seeking an Entry Level Airport Structural Engineering Associate to join our Aviation Practice in the Buildings Service group in Jacksonville, Florida!What we do:We design airports and aviation-related facilities throughout the US and abroad. The Aviation Buildings Service Group consistently represents a complex commingling of multiple building types/ functions (civic, cultural, commercial, hospitality, office, retail, workplace, interiors, etc.) often under one roof.Our projects are experienced by millions of people each year and can reach hundreds of millions of dollars in construction value. You will have the opportunity to deliver projects of various sizes and complexities. Your work will be informed and supported by in-house planners, architects, airfield and building engineers, and environmental specialists to ensure that all aspects of any aviation facility are accounted for and integrated into the design.This is a unique opportunity to join a team that will embrace your ideas to even better serve our great clients.Qualifications:* Bachelor or Masters degree in Civil Engineering, with a structural emphasis, from an ABET accredited university* 0 - 2 years' of experience in the structural engineering field* EIT certification* Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices as related to structural engineering* Experience with design of concrete, steel, masonry and wood structures a plus* Skilled in the use of computers, structural design and analysis software a plus* Some travel may be required (domestic and international)* Due to the nature of the client projects, US citizenship or permanent legal residency is requiredPreferred Qualifications:* Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Proficiency* Working experience with STAAD* Prior internship experienceCore Competencies:In addition to the position's skills, education and experience requirements, the following RS&H competencies are considered foundational to understanding performance, now and in the future.* Teamwork* Leadership* Change Orientation* Communication* Ingenuity* Client FocusIf this sounds like the role for you and you're ready to join an amazing team, please apply.The TeamOur aviation experts are recognized, industry leaders who provide cutting-edge solutions that shape the future of aviation in four broad service areas: airfields, buildings, environmental, and planning.
